SEEING GOD NOT ONLY IN YOUR HURTS

QUESTION: Doesn’t God have any other way to speak to us or to answer us except through problems?

RESPONSE: Yes, God actually speaks to us 80% before and outside problems and 20% in our problems. (my statistics). The difference is that we tend to understand (comprehend) more and clarity comes to us more when we are in a problem than when we are not.

In my experience of preaching, people believe God more on a sick-bed languishing in pain than in a disco club while enjoying. Africa and Asia have more churches and busy worship schedules throughout the week than Europe, and the reason is due to the levels of poverty.

In my view, civilised, rich and developed European countries should have more worship places than third world countries, but unfortunately it is not so.

Why? Because human beings are in their falleness engineered to appreciate God as a fire man. All the revelation of God and answers he gives in a pre-chaotic state, human beings don’t take them seriously until situations get hold of them (people) and they are stuck.

It is the time we get devotional, feel the calling of God upon us, pray and fast and change our behavior.

You don’t have to be in problems to read your Bible or go to church. God speaks to us through events but not only those awkward incidences. Just because we have abused the life full of blessings doesn’t mean those who have been raised in poverty and hustle are the Godly.

It is possible to be raised in a rich family with all the prosperity and still prosper spiritually.

People who have had BITTER EXPERIENCES in life like myself, tend to be in love with God more than those who haven’t suffered at all. But this love that comes from one’s pain and desparacy can hardly be trusted when the victims overcome their pains.

God speaks and answers us in all times (good and bad) but he says more in the good times. The problem is that we are too excited then (good times) to listen.

God speaks to us through nature (Romans 1:20) but when we fail to listen to him and treat nature right, natural disasters strike and as fugitives we tend to listen to him with clarity. It is a failure in our side. Doing late what we ought to have done in time.

God speaks to us more through our friends than through our enemies, but we tend to understand him more through the enemies.

The Holy Spirit is not as audible as our mental bells and desires are, and this is unfortunate.

Our relationship with God must mature and we shift from being bruised to understand to being understanding within blessings.

Dear my sister, God has actually more ways of speaking to us outside problems than in problems. The problems is that we are still spiritual toddlers whose ears are at their buttocks and unless situations spank them, the message doesn’t get home. It is a pity.
