This universe was created by a God. To grasp this, you must use both your HEART (believing to know) and your HEAD (knowing to believe) simultaneously. Reason and faith are two sides of the same coin in Christian epistemology (how Christians know what they know), therefore Christian faith is neither blind unthinking belief nor reason exclusive of belief. The proclamation that THERE IS GOD requires both REASON AND FAITH. Only in this way can it be both logical and spiritual.
The God we claim to believe in is the same God who died to set humanity free from the POWER OF SIN by his vicarious death and miraculous resurrection.
He obtained dominion over the dead and their pre-cross and post-cross choices, and he gave the living a new chance to choose differently after the cross.
This God desires to bring everyone who believes in him into an eternal period free of SIN and all that it entails.
Life has a purpose and that purpose supersedes our materialistic dreams. God must save us from SIN and, eventually, from the SIN ENVIRONMENT when he appears.
