QUESTION: Is having sex while fasting a sin?
RESPONSE: No, it is not a sin unless if sex is one the things the fast is about or if it is inappropriate sex.
QUESTION: PR. Please define inappropriate sex
RESPONSE : The phrase INAPPROPRIATE here implies that LEGALITY and MORALITY have been agreed upon.
To begin with, sex is a natural creature entity created for the sake of reproduction and pleasure. There are natural laws governing the purpose of reproduction, and every culture has legal and moral principles governing sexual pleasure.
The inappropriateness of the terms that affect reproduction will lead to no desired products while the inappropriateness with the terms that govern pleasure will lead to no good communally.
The inappropriateness of sex varies depending on your sociology (culture, religion):
- When only those publicly registered for conjugal rights (the married) are allowed to have sex, and you opt to have sex outside of the jurisdiction (Adultery, Cohabitation, Fornication).
- It is restricted to a specific age group (neither below nor above), but you opt to do it anyhow with the prohibited age group (Pedophilia)
- Sex must be an act of mutual consent, regardless of whether you are married or not, yet you choose to have it against your spouse’s will or if you choose to physically or psychologically over-power someone (Rape)
- If it is exclusively heterosexual (female and male not just man and woman I hope people know the difference) but you choose to do it with the same sex (Homosexuality)
- If you are a human being but attracted to animals and choose to do it with an animal (Bestiality and Zoophilia)
- If you choose to engage yourself in a transaction where “give and take” are not equal in measure sexually and you charge money or material things for sexual services (prostitution, Pornography)
- If some members of your family are off-limits but you still want to have sex with them (Incest)
Inappropriate sex must be investigated on both physical and psychological levels because sex is a PHYSIOLOGY and a PSYCHOLOGY. The physiology prescribes that not all openings and organs should participate in sex and that there is a time and place for everything, while the psychology communicates that upholding what we have agreed upon is moral.
Sexual inappropriateness, therefore, is abuse of its physiology and its existing psychology.
