We are in tough times and some preachers are comforting people with optimism, while others have turned into accusers of the brethren that we are suffering what we deserve.

I don’t know as a teacher and preacher I fall but here is what I have to say, read it and tell me.

WHY DO WE SUFFER

The teaching of WE ARE SUFFERING BECAUSE WE HAVE DISOBEYED GOD is right until we translate the SUFFERING as a DIVINE PUNISHMENT.

This is what Judaism (Biblical Cult) taught and the technical term is RETRIBUTION THEOLOGY. I have laboured in my writings especially in my introductions to Bible books to direct your attention to this misconception of the existence of evil in the presence of an omnipotent and all-loving God and am still doing so but unfortunately not so many people read.

Mention all curable and incurable diseases and other natural and volitional disasters like Hurricanes, Storms, Landslides, Hunger…wars, Genocides, Holocausts, created viruses, pornography, occultic religions, economical hit-men, Bestiality, homosexuality, Pedophilia, political conflicts etc. All these and more are but part of the SIN AGENDA and these are the PRACTICALITY of what we know as a FALLEN WORLD. Jesus said in John 16 that in the world you have Tribulation…so even divinity knows that this world ever since the fall, it can only serve us with bitter herbs however much we try to sweeten it.

GOD’S ROLE IN A FALLEN WORLD

God’s role in this fallen is SALVATION, salvation not from these disasters alone but ultimately salvation from the ultimate cause of all that we see transpiring in our World. God said that I have come that they might have life and have it abundantly in John 10:10.

The cross is a true demonstration that the God who hanged naked on the stake, bled and the immutable God let his life go (John 10:18) and died an eternal death vicariously cannot be the same God attacking those he came to seek and save (Luke 19:10) with horrible woes and plagues as the Judaistic John the Revelator (a member of the Judaism cult) wants us to believe in the book of revelation.

God is after one mission to ultimately save us, the cross might be a shelter we hide from our physical ailments (Isaiah 53:5) but the ultimate and exact purpose of the cross is to save us from the cause of our physical, psychological ailments and disastrous circumstances.

This is why we should not jubilate and rejoice that we have prayed and fasted until Corona Virus has left, but rather the ultimate goal of God is not to save us from Corona, the goal of the true God is to save us from the real Virus known as Sin (Harmartia) mother to all other viruses. This Sin virus is a power that consumes all into eternal nothingness and this is the power God came to save individual people from. I said INDIVIDUAL PEOPLE because each individual must make a deliberate choice or decision to BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST TO BE SAVED (John 3:16-17).

Friends, it doesn’t matter whether we have overcome Corona Virus or it has overtaken all of us. It doesn’t matter whether you are H. I. V positive or negative, survived an accident or victimized by it, it doesn’t make sense as being saved from the ultimate virus and mother to all our problems which is SIN. That is why God warned us, that rejoice not because demons of poverty, of sickness, or failure, disaster etc have been subdued, but rather rejoice because your names have been recorded of what I call the GOD-LIST (Luke 10:20).

You have to believe the only gospel and that is the gospel of you are saved by grace through faith alone…not by works lest any man should boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). That is the only gospel which is the power of God to save not who have fixed themselves, but sinners (Romans 1:16-18). Whoever preaches another gospel like that found in your religious doctrines, be he even an angel from heaven is irreversibly cursed (Galatians 1:8, 2Corinthians 11:4).

God is here to save you from that you cannot save yourself from. You can save yourself from H. I. V by following a simple formula of ABC… abstain, Be faithful and use a condom… You can save yourself from this Corona pandemic by regularly washing your hands, not touching your soft spots on the face… Eyes, nose and mouth. By cutting mobility, avoiding the crowd, masking, and checkups… All these ailments have a practical way of avoidance and resolution. But tell me, how do we deal with SIN? The evil engraved on the human heart (Jeremiah 17:1), the deceitfulness of the human heart and its incurable tendencies (Jeremiah 17:9-10). How do we deal with ourselves when we do things against our own will (Romans 7:14-16). It is this virus known as Sin that only God can save us from…no law-keeping will help us…no religious liturgy or spiritual formula will save us… All we need is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone.

THE END THAT MATTERS

Those who look at the multiplication of evil as the sign of the end of the world are right, the problem they shouldn’t forget that all they see are SIGNS of the end but not the END and therefore, they shouldn’t base on the signs to prepare people for the reality that isn’t here yet.

Our role as preachers is not to look at or wait for the SIGNS of a UNIVERSAL END and then prepare people, our role as preachers is to prepare people for the present REALITY which is the END that matters more than the universal ESCHATOLOGICAL END and that end is the INDIVIDUAL DEATH

My brother, my sister, don’t be hyper with the end of the world. You are in the world and neither are you the world nor of the world (John 17:13-18). Stop being concerned with the end of the world more than you are concerned with your PERSONAL END.

You can die right now, or you could have died yesterday…the question is if you died right now, are you sure of your eternal destiny. Are you resurrecting for eternal damnation or eternal glory? Have you used this life to prepare for your eternity or not (Isaiah 38:1)?

Some of us who have secured our future with Jesus Christ have a life philosophy that says: TO LIVE IS GAIN-CHRIST AND TO DIE IS PROFITABLE (Philippians 1:21)…real Christians are not worried about what is about to kill them, they are worried about whether they have secured their eternal destinies since anytime they will die with or without COVID-19.

Folks, think about this.
