God will not have mercy on the world. It is broken, fallen and to be disposed off. God will have mercy on individuals. We are asking everyone to put their houses (lives) in order and the only way to do it is by BELIEVING JESUS CHRIST. BELIEVING THAT YOU ARE SAVED BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH ALONE, NOT BY WORKS LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.
This COVID-19 pandemic has taught us what matters in life and WHAT YOU CAN LIVE WITHOUT as well as WHAT YOU CAN DIE WITH.
The things you thought mattered, the people you knew to be important, the projects that occupied your whole being, the cheerleaders, the ambitions all are no more or at its best redefined and redirected.
Ministries should be reshaped, jobs renegotiated, residences changed after this pandemic. There will be a world reordering which will make no sense to anyone who hasn’t reinvented themselves.
Now that you know your car doesn’t matter as your healthy body, make it a point even after this pandemic to WALK TO WORK or ride a bicycle to work.
Now that you know you can spend a week at home, not sick but off work, will you please ensure weekly holidays (not weekends) and stay at home with your family?
Now that you know you can spend a day without food and stay alive, will you exercise dietary temperance and occasional fasting for your body cleansing?
Now that you have fellowshiped at home and worshiped with your spouse and children as you have never, will please stop attending your mega church with worship leaders and preachers and be all that at your home some Sundays? Bring the church to your home. Have you ever thought hosting the church at your home? Well am telling you, after this pandemic, please do.
Now that you have been and are still alone in that house with money and food but without someone, do you see how marriage matters in contrast to the modern corporate single life? You need a man my sister, brother you need a lady, stop giving excuses, you were created to socialize not with your kind, but with that different species.
Marrieds, do you see how all along you thought things were okay just because your were distant? The corona social distance indoors has exposed your problem solving approaches. The spouse whom your work has always saved you from has now closed in the social distance and after this you are either going to live happily ever after or you are actually waiting for the quarantine to end so that you can divorce.
Now you know the sustainability of your economic setting. Your job only pays when you are present – hand to mouth. The American donors are the most attacked and therefore they are using what they initially gave you for their survival.
Pastor, all along you have been busy to pick the calls of the sheep and you had a secretary who did that. Do you see now (after the not so important institutional work is closed) how you are speaking to people? How you are counseling them on phone, how you are praying for them like you have never. Don’t you think you need to review your ministerial approach?
You have three homes brother, but ever since this quarantine you have been in one, does that click in your thick head and boiling body?
Now look at you, am talking to you who considered this pandemic period as an opportunity to watch all your series and finish them, and so far you have already watched 50 of them and you sleep at 2:oo in the morning. Sister, brother you are part of the pandemics that always attack our world. Can’t you read? Okay if you can’t read, can’t you at least listen to audio books, or watch educative documentaries as you take note? Rather than pornography and masturbating out your backbone through the quarantine?
Country presidents, do you see how the country is led? You communicate to the people often and immediately implement what you resolve, you talk and people see and feel what you said. There is no longer any implementation paralysis. There is no longer opposition for the sake of opposition, in fact the opposition is sending support not criticism to the incumbent to curb a national problem. Citizens, beyond their taxes, are gifting the government to support their country.
I could go on and on but here is the thing. Did you here a case in Uganda where leaders stole relief funds? Well this is what am always telling you that our problem is not our SKIN but our SIN. Our problem is not our DISEASE but our DEATH.
It is this SIN and its power which is DEATH that God incarnate died and resurrected to save us from. God has no business with the world and neither is he trying to fix it. His business is with YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL you believe him right now, and it doesn’t matter what the world kills you with, be it a pandemic, an accident, curable and incurable disease, natural disasters, your life is secured in God to be reestablished in the NEW WORLD ORDER as it is presented to us in Isaiah 65:17, 66:22 and Revelation 21:1.
