In Uganda, they always organize a NATIONAL PRAYER BREAKFAST. It is something born in Washington but its origin is in the Bible and specifically in the book of Daniel. It was a national prayer breakfast when the religious leaders were called and failed.
Now note that the religious leaders failed in the days of Nebopolasser (son of Nebuchadnezzar) but hardly do religious leaders on modern national prayer breakfast fail. Modern religious leaders tend to always agree with the leaders and these politicians always walk out of these meetings without a divine conviction and neither with a new divine assignment. Religious leaders invited to these ceremonies tend to behave like Baal palace prophets who agree with the manner things are done both by the incumbent and the existing opposition. HOW I WISH ME-PRIEST ISAIAH WHITE AM INVITED TO ONE OF THESE.
My elder brother Samson Kasumba has attended one in the US and several in Uganda, but he is always invited to sing, I wish he was given the microphone to address the leaders gathered there. I know that presidents have chaplains, I know that parliaments have chaplains, am wondering what these chaplains do? am not criticizing anyone but the book of Daniel in its 12 chapters is about THE MINISTERS OF GOD IN THE CORRIDORS OF POWER.
I am praying that one day God grants me an audience with the powers and I can assure you, I will launch the book of Daniel there…I could continue with this but more will be in the introductions to this book. Dow do you see why I am asking you to read the Bible? It is all there, we just need the help of the Holy Spirit through his theologians to understand.
