Warning ⚠: This is high voltage Bible Study. Your study and prayer are required for a proper understanding.
We are not saved by the FORGIVENESS of God {his attitude}, we are saved by the GRACE of God through FAITH {his action on behalf the specific audience}.
God at the cross issued a blank Cheque to ALL (believers and non-believers) and all people were equally FORGIVEN of their SINNING, Past, Present and Future (2Corithians 5:19; Jeremiah 31:34; Psalm 103:12; Romans 5:10).
The cross changed the attitude of God towards all sinners and by the blood, He himself shed on those two-crossed painful woods, he forgave all the human race. In case you wanted to know how God feels about you, his attitude to you (sinner or Saint), here it is: HE HAS FORGIVEN YOU.
However, only those among the forgiven who have signed a faith ALLEGIANCE and launched a continuous active RELATIONSHIP with God will inherit eternal life (John 3:16-17) while other forgiven sinners/saints perish forever in Hell (John 3:18-19).
Eternal Salvation is not a matter of being forgiven, the cross did that and did it to everyone, Salvation is not a business of the right church, right religion, right theology, spiritual power that does wonders in prophecy, signs and wonders, salvation is an issue of a relationship in which you don’t only know God but God also knows you in this respect.
“…AND THEN I WILL DECLARE TO THEM, ‘I NEVER KNEW YOU; DEPART FROM ME YOU EVILDOERS…” Mathew 7:21-23 {emphasis on verse 23}
The nature of God dictates that whoever will be in hell will be forgiven but still in hell (Romans 5:10). The reason is a simple one, LIGHT has come but people have LOVED darkness (John 3:19).
Friends, Heaven and Hell is a LOVE AFFAIR issue.
God bless you, I invoke Truth, Reason and Faith
