And the manna ceased on the morrow, when they ate of the produce of the land; and the people of Israel had manna no more, but ate of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year (Joshua 5:12)
Imagine 40 years of a specific menu. Manna had turned into a staple food to these people. Let us, first of all, thank God for his faithful providence. Thank you, God.
But who knew that manna will ever cease. Picking manna every morning and every evening had programmed the psychology of this nation. Every Israelite adult and child knew manna time, and here we are when it is no more.
Am sure the new menu in Canaan affected their digestive systems and every Israelite witnessed that in the restrooms while in Canaan.
Anyways am here to teach another principle of Victory. Victorious people prepare for cessation. Victorious people do not believe in the permanence of victory. They don’t win today and live the same victory the next day. They put up a new fight each day that comes.
Victorious people do not feed on manna while in Canaan. Manna belongs to the wilderness and fruit is for Canaan. Victorious people do understand that while in the wilderness, all you have to do is wake up and go pick manna. In Canaan, to eat one fruit you have to fight the Canaanites and many other inhabitants to take charge.
Victorious people do understand that free things will one time be no more. Victorious people eat free food while planning for the day that food will be no more. Victorious employees start small businesses to run to after this job is no more.
Victorious people, while in power, make friends to help them in future when power has ceased. Victorious people don’t just save money, they invest it.
Victorious people do not commit suicide when a manna-like relationship ceases, they dust themselves and prepare for an up-coming fruitful relationship.
Victorious people accept change however difficult it is compared to what has been. They switch from FREE-MANNA to FRUIT FOR FIGHT.
Fellow victor, God wants you and I to understand that the QUALITY of MANNA FOOD/success is equivalent to the WILDERNESS, but there is no way you can be in CANAAN and expect MANNA to fall. You better go back to the wilderness civilization or stay here and fight today, tomorrow and every day of your living for fruition.
