VICTORY: Knowing WHAT to do, WHEN and HOW

Joshua 2:12: Now then swear to me by the lord that as I have dealt kindly with you, you also will deal kindly with my father’s house and give me a sure sign

I have insisted that this book is about VICTORY and people who like winning are blessed. Rahab was a prostitute, and after serving the spies with the usual service, she took an extra step to get to know who they were?

Right there, an opportunity showed up in the brothel and a prostitute was quick to recognize and seize it. After she listened to the resume of the government spies, and reconciling it with the newspaper dailies in Jericho, she knew a new government was about to take over.

It was time for her to transfer her loyalty from an out-going government and place it under an incoming government.

She was not just an opportunist and neither was she a scavenger, she practically and actively participated in struggle and used what she had.

She took matters seriously and asked for these spies for a sure sign. A symbolic contract as an assurance.

Now listen. Victorious people can be just anyone, PROSTITUTES too. Victory has no tribe, no profession and victory doesn’t mind who you have been, all victory is concerned with is who you have become.

Once you breakthrough, it doesn’t matter where you were born and what you used to do, people are interested in what you are now.

Victorious people analyse situations around them, victorious people are informed, victorious people take risks, victorious people dare.

Victorious people involve themselves in formal agreements, they don’t subject matters of importance to word of mouth. Make sure people sign somewhere, rather than standing before the courts and say, She said or he said. Be formal, have a sure sign. Something that your lawyer can use to help you just in case.

What am trying to say here is that VICTORY is knowing WHAT to do WHEN to do it and HOW. This is what sets winners and losers apart.

Actually the reason as to why victorious people are blessed (lucky) is because they have a place for a blessing (luck) by what they do, when they do it and how they do it. Luck is selective and that is the criteria.
