2 Timothy 1:7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
2Timothy 1:7 is structured like a simplistic mathematic equation to me.
FEAR is an equation.
It is when soundness (critical thinking, asking the right questions, examining, evaluating and reconciling things) is subtracted, or removed from your MIND.
So fear is neither an additional element nor is it a multiplier effect but something that subtracts and feeds on our MIND.
Perhaps you are afraid right now. Am telling you my friend that God has blessed us Christians with a courageous Spirit. All God does is to ADD power to love or MULTIPLY power with love, and the answer is a SOUND MIND.
The ROARING of a lion intends to subtract SOUNDNESS from its PREY and once the antelopes are not THINKING RIGHT, they scatter in all directions.
I don’t know what is ROARING at you right now, debts, relationship, disease, joblessness, barrenness, etc. Whatever it is, let it not SUBTRACT SOUNDNESS from your MIND.
