THE FALL OF ADAMAH

Question

Can it be the case that even at sinning level, all humanity as portrayed thereto did sin simultaneously, or all responded the same way wherever they were? – Peter

This came up after the previous article here.

Answer

Reading the epistle to the church in Rome is very interesting, frightening but again inspiring. There is a way the Apostle Paul approaches the issue of Sin. He begins with simple things that can be understood by all, and continues to raise the bar in every proceeding chapter. This kind of writing is divine set and sent.

In Romans 5, Paul contrasts the fall of man as beginning with one woman, then her husband, and then the children (Genesis 3). And then Paul tells us that salvation also begins with another man, Jesus. Notice that the first ADAMAH fell and got stuck at the tree and the second ADAMAH was hanged on the tree to release the first ADAMAH who was stuck on the tree.

Now I want you to think about that as I attempt the question of my brother Peter who asked whether in the fall, ADAMAH (humanity) sinned simultaneously or in fact, Sin began from one person to another. See previous article here.

Friends, it is important to note that to understand the fall, you need to grasp the cause of the fall. The fall is sinning and its effects on humanity and environment but the cause is Sin. It is important to understand that sin is not an H.I.V virus that is passed on through cuts upon contact or friction. Sin is a cosmic force whose impact is everywhere at the same time. To insist that Sin began with one family and then spread world over is looking at Sin as cancer cells which God failed to contain or mutilate the affected part and save the incorrupt race.

To insist on the view that Sin began with one couple is to preach the Catholic doctrine of original sin inherited biologically and spiritually from our parents and passing on the same genes, something that has proven to be wrong for we have witnessed sinners who are sons of saints and the reverse is true.

To insist that Sin began with Eve, and then passed on to the husband can be defended on the level that the Sin of the man and the woman was eating from the forbidden tree, but what is unexplained is the attitude of Cain, their son, who did not eat from the same tree.

ADAMAH fell not in what he did but in what he willed. If we understand this then we will understand the cosmic fall as opposed to restricting the fall to the Jewish report whose intention is to remind us that humanity has not always be thus, but something really bad happened.

If the Apocalypse in Revelation 12 is true then we have no option but to believe the magnitude of the fall. The salvation in heaven did not save one angel or heavenly citizen at a go, but rather it was salvation that came to heaven at once, and individuals had to subscribe to the existing deliverance. The dragon and his demons cast to earth, instituted a cosmic fall and man, whether righteous or not, was situated in the realm of the fall. All man could and can do is to will differently from the status quo or approve it.

This is what Paul had hinted upon in Romans 3:23: For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. I want you to notice two things in this Pauline language.

1. ALL have sinned – not one by one, not one at a time, not some here and some there, not some in the past and others in the present but ALL sinned, at once. But wait a minute, what kind of Sin did the human race commit at once all over?

2. FALLEN SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD – This is not something they did, it was not a corporate or universal participation in some adultery but the fact in every man’s will in his volitional attributes adultery was a potential qualified them as fallen. Fallen not in what they have done, but in what they can.

This what Jesus labored to teach the pharisees who were hyper with the law when he told them that adultery was not a sin at the level of practical sex but at the level of a thought/imagination (Mathew 5).

It is not for us to deem ourselves fallen or upright but the stand is heaven designed and made and it is none other than THE GLORY OF GOD anything below or within that, is fallen, sinful and destined for the wrath of God.

This is why we (true gospel preachers) insist on the truth that we are saved by grace through faith and not by our human performance given that we are fallen before we do and still fallen after we do.

The reason for this is found in Romans 3:21: But now a righteousness from God without the Law is manifested. This righteousness and its salvation is as cosmic as Sin and its fall are cosmic. You must not convert to any tribe that has the righteousness genes, you don’t have to subscribe to any religion, all you need, wherever you are and whoever you are, is to believe (John 3:16).

The cross is cosmic and so is its power to redeem. The tree in Eden is a symbol of the fall, as it happened in Eden, it was happening all-over and elsewhere. The fans of Brazil in the world-cup finals jubilate at once wherever they are upon a goal being scored, now that is just international, imagine the cosmic magnitude that works with the WILL not the practice.
