Church Discipline

Church discipline is good if and only if God is not involved in the process. When someone steals and he is taken to court…the Judge does not refer to God, to sentence the thief to prison…….even though God does not condone stealing.

Churches and institutional leaders must  avoid hiding behind God and using his name to give sociological punishments calling them spiritual.

Church discipline depends on the known standards of behavior and these standards if it is God’s church must be set by God and if it is an institutional thing…then the standards are set by these leaders in the name of god (I hope you can see the danger)…in the name of policies.

If God is the standard of church discipline then no one shouldn’t be on discipline…. According to Mathew 5. But if we judge upon our own set standards (policies) then some are more guilty than others.

So church discipline is like the police and jails in a society and it is very good for our sociological living… We manage and control damage by putting on hold aggressive sinners whose sinning is affecting the entire community. So we exclude these for purposes of rehabilitation as opposed to promising or threatening them with heaven whose standards are set by God himself and not these man made and man-manipulated policies.

WE ALL MUST UNDERSTAND THAT OUR INDIVIDUAL SIN AND SINNING IS CONTAGIOUS AND SINCE WE ARE SOCIAL BEINGS, OUR SIN AND SINNING WILL AFFECT OUR SOCIETY….The Bible is filled with many examples of this.

Always try in your churches and fellowships or wherever you gather to PROFESSIONALLY manage and control damage by not damaging one’s spirit through threats of eternal  destinies. All sinners on discipline and those who are righteous enough to spiritually jail others in church discipline are save by Grace through faith and lost by rejecting grace and lack of faith.

Pigs can only be cleaned and once they are cleaned they remain clean pigs…which cannot qualify where standards of sheep are required.
