I have been following closely the campaign trail of the US and this is the conclusion i have come up with.
Donald Trump is the best presidential candidate for the United States of America. And And as Americans vote or decide who to vote, they should be careful with two Paramount factors:
1-Their IDENTITY
2-Their INTENTIONS
If Americans wish or think that the United States politics should be domesticated and localized then there is no one better than Donald Trump for that office.
The spirit and mindset of Donald Trump’s manifesto is about LOCALIZING AMERICAN POLITICS…and keeping its practice within its boundaries. It is a very exclusive politics and that is why you all have witnessed his attitude to immigrants. so if America did not have a stake on the international scene, then Donald is the best president for a local America and not an international super power.
Republican indigenous conservatives like Trump are interested in an America which is a super power which is a defensive super power (fighting upon attack) and not an offensive super power (attacking to prevent future imagined attacks).
This is the security policy point that Trump is making to the Americans. And whether it is too late or on time, that is subject to discuss.
When I look at Trump as Ugandan, I see Kizza Besigye. Am a musevenist but to be honest Kizza besigye is the best presidential candidate for Uganda. He has the best policy for a local Uganda. He has the best security policy for Uganda ..best economic solution… Best everything for a local Uganda…his politics is what I call *INDOOR POLITICS*
If Uganda was not part of OAU, EA, UN, WORLD BANK, IMF, ISC…then we could afford a Besigye. But politics is internationally determined, the neighboring country always has interests in the elections next door because they know they will by default be affected by the decisions and policies of the team that comes. That is why Russia, Asia and the Arabic world are for Trump…that is why the vice president of Kenya had the audacity to campaign for Museven…and Raila Odinga conducted a meeting with the Ugandan opposition leaders.
Now we all know why international presidents have been flocking Uganda… It is because Uganda (every country) has a place in the international scene.
So if Trump became the president two things will happen: America will become just like any other nation and its international policy will collapse…and secondly in no while he will be assassinated or dethroned.
Hilary Clinton on the other hand, is the best candidate for the internationally oriented America. His policy is not exclusive but inclusive, her security policy is prevention is better than cure…so she attacks imagined enemies or potential threats. Museven in somalia…in Zaire..in Burundi..in South Sudan…etc. Internationally oriented politicians like Hilary and Museven do not do much to their citizens locally but by the big picture they protect their people from international disasters like those you have witnessed in repellant countries (North Korea exempt).
Voting in Trump for America and voting in Besigye for Uganda is like crowning one monarchical prince over different tribes and nationalities. These should be reserved for local leadership not for serious national and international matters.
If you say that I don’t care about the international community all I want is my country’s development, then you are thinking like Ghadafi thought…and that worked for a while, but we all know where he is and how Libya is….today.
You can say Libyans were better off with Ghadafi but politics dictates that: It doesn’t make any sense to collect all the wealth and health which you cannot protect. #The status of your neighbor matters.
The major reason Museven looks a failure to 30% of Ugandans is because of this truth. POLITICS IS GLOBAL NOT LOCAL. for this reason…many Republicans are indifferent with their own Trump…it is for this matter that I want you to understand that whoever comes in, however conservative he/she is, will inevitably be globalized or be thrown out. Now you know why by all means Hillary is the next President and Museven (or Amama) still has a chance come 2021…if he wishes
