TIME IS “WHAT IS”

The thing we call TIME today is an “understanding” without a “perception“. It is something we understand as it is explained by experiments and experiences in our secondary life (life as we know it and live it). It is very important to underscore the fact that the two major theories about the origin of life and things:

  1. Creation (which I subscribe to)
  2. Evolution

Both agree on one thing: THERE WAS A PRE-ORIGIN (What was before the ORIGIN be it Creation or the Big Bang). If you read the first verse in the Bible, it reads: “In the BEGINNING God created heavens and earth….” That is to say before the earth there already was a beginning (time). I hope you are following.

All evolutionists will confirm to the fact of the “FIRST CAUSE“. At least some forces caused the BING BANG. Then from the BIG BANG etc and etc. Now one wonders why I am into this dimension of CAUSE (pre-origins) and EFFECT (origins, life, and things). To answer that, I would say that it is because that both pre-origins and post origins are periods. The difference is that post-period can be quantified and that is where we have these Calendars but the pre-period cannot be quantified. It can only be perceived.

So my claim is that what we know as time today was before us and before we begun to understand it and therefore quantify it. Let me extend this to make you follow my argument. If a tree falls in the woods (forest) and no one’s there to hear it, does it make a sound?” If your answer is NO then you are saying: There is no time without witnesses. In a sense, you could be saying there is no night and day where you are not present. But if your answer is YES, it makes a sound then you are saying that what we call SOUND is even before we call it SOUND (oba munfuna!?). In that manner then you have confirmed to my credible hypothesis that TIME IS, and it is perceived TO BE, regardless of whether it understood and quantified – in clocks and calendars.

Finally, this TIME which is “TIME IS” has not even the principle primary tenses that divide our quantified contemporary Time: PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE. The Creationists call this: ETERNITY, the Physicists call this: TIMELESSNESS/SPACE. According to me, I think and know (perception) that it is TIME IS, not eternity that leaves no room for quantification, or timelessness that has no moments but it “TIME IS”. Like one of my professors (Carrol) put it: “It’s like a ball rolling down the hill, but there’s no bottom to the hill“. If it is in our world where this time is categorized then the ball will always be rolling both in the future and in the past, not as a pendulum but as a static standard – that is TIME IS.

So before we argue about who has quantified time right and what time is. We must first establish that we are going to discuss something before and beyond us.

Let me pose and welcome questions and discussions. I will discuss part two: DEFINITIVE QUANTIFICATION OF TIME.

  1. Thank you Pastor White. In one of your explanations, you said that “time is” was here before even its quantification.

Now,may I Know: between events and time, what predates the other in the theory you subscribe to,creationism?

  2. Thank you Peter Carlveland. without complicating the answer to this question, i would say. it is TIME. For creation itself is a quantification of time. that is how historian actually have come up with BCE (Before the Common Era), CE (Common Era), BC (Before Christ), AD (Anno Domino). All these is existing time quantified by mortal beings. I hope this will be of use
