Because of SIN not because we are SINNERS, we are therefore saved by grace through faith alone…Eph 2:8-10
YOUR PROBLEM IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE DOING OR NOT DOING, THE ISSUE IS WITH THE CAUSE OF WHAT YOU ARE DOING…AND IT IS THAT CAUSE THAT JESUS CHRIST WANTS TO DEAL WITH.
Believe and choose him today and he will replace the cause of your actions (Galatians 5:20-22)
Stop trying to keep the law of your master to the dot and start a relationship with the master of the laws….
Jesus has two things to offer:
1-LAW = PERFECT OBEDIENCE
2-LOVE = PERFECT RELATIONSHIP
He wants you to make a choice, which one will it be? Are you going the legalistic way or the love approach. Do you want a RELATIONSHIP with God or a CONTRACT with terms and conditions with him.
Do you want him to change you or you want to change yourself and impress him!!?? Are you helpless about your situation or you can still fix it!!? Well God says: if you think you can fix it, he will give you all the time you need and if at a certain point you feel like you are heavy ladened and weary…he says: COME YE UNTO ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU REST (Mat 11:28-30)
REST FROM:
1-YOUR-SELF (for left by your own you will destroy you)
2-YOUR RELIGION (for it has put a yoke in your neck for long, you have served it for a while and nothing has changed in your life)
Jesus calls you to carry his yoke and contrasts it with the one you are carrying and he says: MY YOKE IS NOT HEAVY (Mat 11:30)…And for sure FAITH is lighter than WORKS.
